The City's Fiscal Year 2023 -2024 allocates $475,000 to begin addressing deferred maintenance throughout the City's parks, open space, and recreation facilities system. Staff are using the Parks and Recreation Facilities Assessment, Accessibility Evaluation, and input from user groups, the Parks and Recreation and Senior Advisory Commissions and staff to develop a framework for prioritizing projects for the use of these funds. We expect to present a draft of this framework for community, user group, and Commission feedback in late spring 2023, with City Council review during the summer of 2023.
