Election Information
2022 General Municipal Election
The City Clerk's Office is responsible for conducting municipal elections within the City of Healdsburg. The following information has been prepared to help guide voters of the City of Healdsburg, potential candidates for office, and individuals and organizations participating in City elections. The next regular scheduled General Municipal Election for the City of Healdsburg will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Three Council seats will be up for election, two 4-year seats and one 2-year seat. City of Healdsburg Councilmembers are elected at large to serve four-year terms. The term expiration dates are staggered so that not all terms expire at the same time.
Candidate Qualifications
To be eligible for these offices, an individual must be at least eighteen years of age, a citizen of the United States and a resident of the State of California, must be a registered voter and a resident within the City limits of the City of Healdsburg.
Nomination Process
Nomination and election forms for municipal offices will be available at the City Clerk's Office during the Nomination Period; beginning July 18, 2022, through August 12, 2022 by appointment only. If an incumbent City Councilmember does not file, the time-frame will be extended to August 17, 2022. For official documents or more information please contact the City Clerk's office.
