The City has partnered with Reach for Home to provide short-term rent assistance to low income renters living in Healdsburg who are facing homelessness. Reach for Home supports income-qualified families and individuals who are dealing with back rent, facing an end to other rent subsidies, or dealing with unsafe housing situations. Reach for Home can assist families with covering the costs associated with:
First months rent
Security deposit
Utility deposit moving and
Storage costs
Victory Studios Apartments
In addition to the assistance available through Reach for Home (formerly NSCS), the Community Development Commission administers the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program which assists low-income individuals and families with their rental payments.
