Policies and Training (SB 978)

Beginning January 1, 2020, the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training and all local California law enforcement agencies must conspicuously post all current standards, policies, practices, operating procedures, and education and training materials on their websites that would otherwise be available to the public if a request was made pursuant to the California Public Records Act.

In addition to the above training, the Healdsburg Police Department also do conducts training through vendor programs using copyrighted materials.  Copyright materials are not subject to disclosure under California Government Code section 6254(k).  Training materials may be requested through the vendor directly.
