Expedited Permitting For Solar and EV Chargers

In an effort to provide better service to our community the City of Healdsburg’s Community Development Center has provided a streamlined process for permitting Small Residential Rooftop Solar Energy Systems and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations. Once all of the documentation is correctly and fully completed and submitted, a permit will be processed and approved for issuance in a timely manner (usually 1 to 3 days). Follow the steps outlined below to submit for your permit:

SMALL RESIDENTIAL SOLAR ENERGY SYSTEMS

​1. Download, review, and complete the appropriate checklists from the Expedited Photovoltaic (PV)Checklist.


​2. Submit 4 sets of all documents to the City of Healdsburg Building Department. All plan sheets must be uniform in size.

​ The City of Healdsburg’s Community Development Center will notify you when the documents have been reviewed and approved and the permit is ready to issue

ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING STATION:

​1. Download, review, and complete the appropriate EV Checklist and all the required documents requested on the checklist.
  1. Checklist for 1 and 2 Family Residential Electric Vehicle Charging Station Permits
  2. Checklist for Multi-Family Residential Electric Vehicle Charging Station Permits
  3. Checklist for Non-Residential Electric Vehicle Charging Station Permits

2. Submit 4 sets of all documents to the City of Healdsburg Building Department. All plan sheets must be uniform in size.
